On June 16, 2025, in Hanoi, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) solemnly held the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025–2030) under the theme: “Vinachem Emulation – Innovation – Creativity – Green Growth – Digital Transformation – Steadily Moving Toward the Future.” This was a political and social event of special significance, aimed at reviewing and evaluating the outcomes of the patriotic emulation movement over the past five years and setting out orientations and tasks for the next period, contributing to the successful achievement of Vinachem’s development goals in particular and Vietnam’s chemical industry in general.

Attending the Congress were Mr. Lai Xuan Lam – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies; Mr. Ho Sy Hung – Deputy Minister of Finance; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; representatives of leaders from central ministries and agencies; along with many outstanding leaders and officials from member units across the Group. On Vinachem’s side, attendees included Mr. Phung Quang Hiep – Party Secretary and Chairman of the Members Council; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu – Member of the Board of Directors and General Director; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong – Chairman of the Group Trade Union, together with key leaders and 50 outstanding individuals representing tens of thousands of employees across the Vinachem system.

The period 2020-2025 was marked by significant difficulties and challenges for the global economy in general and domestic businesses in particular, due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical instability, rising input material prices, and the urgent demands of green and digital transformation. In this context, Vinachem made great efforts to maintain stable production and business operations, ensuring jobs and income for employees through the launch of numerous practical and effective emulation movements. Patriotic emulation activities were implemented synchronously from the Group level down to the operational level, closely linked to political tasks and production-business plans, thereby creating strong momentum for comprehensive and sustainable development.

Over the past five years, the Group’s total industrial production value exceeded VND 277 trillion, with an average growth rate of nearly 10% per year; consolidated revenue surpassed VND 290 trillion; pre-tax profit reached nearly VND 15 trillion; and contributions to the state budget exceeded VND 11.5 trillion. Notably, average employee income increased continuously, reaching VND 13.39 million per person per month—an increase of 45% compared to the beginning of the period. In addition, emulation movements promoting creative labor and technical innovation delivered strong results, with more than 5,700 technical initiatives and solutions effectively applied, generating an estimated economic value of over VND 1.6 trillion. Thematic emulation campaigns such as “Green – Clean – Beautiful, Ensuring Occupational Safety and Hygiene – Environmental Protection,” “Productivity – Quality,” “Year-End Sprint Emulation,” and “Emulation in Implementing Key Projects” continued to be widely implemented, contributing to improved labor productivity, product quality, and the Vinachem brand’s reputation both domestically and internationally.

At the Congress, many outstanding collectives and individuals were awarded prestigious honors and commendations from the Party, the State, and socio-political organizations. Notably, Vinachem was honored to receive the Third-Class Labour Order awarded by the President, the Government’s Emulation Flag, and numerous Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and the Party Committee of Central Enterprises. The Congress also commended and honored 80 exemplary individuals with outstanding contributions to patriotic emulation movements during the 2020–2025 period, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (1945–2025), further enhancing the significance and pride of the event.

At this Congress, many officials and employees of The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company were honored with Certificates of Merit from the Group for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement during the 2020–2025 period. These prestigious awards are not only well-deserved recognition of individual efforts, but also a shared pride of the entire company. From technical innovation initiatives and dedication to production work, to responsibility in occupational safety, hygiene, and environmental protection, each honored individual represents a “beautiful flower” in the vibrant emulation movement of Southern Fertilizer.

Building on the tradition of patriotic emulation and the achievements attained, entering the 2025–2030 period, The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company continues to identify emulation as a key driving force for the successful fulfillment of its strategic objectives. The Company is committed to strengthening the application of science and technology, promoting innovation, improving productivity and product quality, and actively participating in emulation movements launched by the Group, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnam National Chemical Group and making meaningful contributions to the country’s industrialization and modernization in the new era.
