On December 29, 2025, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Chemical Group held a conference to review its 2025 performance and outline directions and tasks for 2026. This was a significant political event, marking a strong transition of the Group following a period of restructuring and growth recovery.
The conference was attended and directed by Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee. Participants also included representatives of the leadership of the Government Party Committee, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance, the Central Inspection Commission, the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and advisory and supporting agencies of the Government Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance.
Representing the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Chemical Group were Mr. Phung Quang Hiep, Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Members’ Council; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, Member of the Members’ Council and General Director of the Group; and Mr. Nguyen Van Quy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee, together with members of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Group’s Party Committee; members of the Members’ Council, the Board of General Directors, and Controllers; secretaries and deputy secretaries of affiliated party cells and party committees; and leaders of professional departments and socio-political organizations within the Group. Representing The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company was Mr. Do Van Tuan, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and General Director.
At the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Quy – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company – presented the 2025 Report on Party Affairs.
Amid ongoing global and domestic economic fluctuations, the Group Party Committee focused on strengthening leadership and governance, while implementing Party affairs in close alignment with political responsibilities and production and business operations, thereby achieving comprehensive and notable results.
Party affairs were implemented in a serious and comprehensive manner across all key areas, including organizational and personnel work, internal political protection, inspection and supervision, anti-corruption and misconduct prevention, and Party member development. The Group Party Committee provided effective leadership and direction in successfully organizing Party congresses at all levels, as well as the 4th Congress of the Vietnam National Chemical Group Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term, in full compliance with established principles, procedures, and timelines set by the central authorities.

On the same day, the Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem) held the Conference to Review 2025 Performance and Implement Tasks for 2026 in Hanoi. The conference was attended by Mr. Bui Thanh Son, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; Mr. Cao Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Finance; and representatives of central ministries and agencies, including the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Government Inspectorate, the Government Office, and the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour. The conference also welcomed representatives from specialized departments under the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Viet Nam Industry and Trade Union, as well as leaders of corporations, general corporations, banks, and partner organizations of the Vietnam National Chemical Group.
Representing the Vietnam National Chemical Group, attendees included Mr. Phung Quang Hiep, member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the Members’ Council; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, member of the Members’ Council, and General Director; together with leaders of the Party Committee, the Members’ Council, the Board of General Directors, the trade union, and the youth union of the Group; controllers and the chief accountant; representatives of the leadership of member units; former leaders of the Group; and representatives of the Group’s functional departments and office. Representing Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company was Mr. Do Van Tuan, General Director of the Company.
Speaking at the conference, leaders of the Government and the Group highlighted Vinachem’s notable achievements in 2025 despite numerous challenges, while outlining breakthrough and sustainable development directions for 2026. The atmosphere of the conference reflected a strong sense of pride in the results achieved, along with a firm determination to modernize the chemical industry in the new phase.
General Director Nguyen Huu Tu stated that Vinachem will strengthen its forecasting capabilities and closely monitor market developments to further promote production and business activities, ensure the supply of essential products such as fertilizers, and contribute to stabilizing the domestic market. In addition, the Group will review the past five-year plan and develop a development strategy for the 2026–2030 period in close alignment with Government directives.
