The 15th Congress of the Trade Union of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company took place in an enthusiastic emulation atmosphere. All officials, union members, and workers are determined to complete the 2025 production and business targets, creating momentum for sustainable development in the new phase.
On November 8, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Trade Union of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company organized the 15th Congress of Delegates, term 2025–2030. The Congress was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Van Quy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Chemical Group; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong, Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union; Mr. Do Van Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of the Company, together with 130 delegates attending.



Comprehensive care for the lives and rights of workers
During the 2023–2025 term, under the leadership of the Company’s Party Committee and the direction of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, the Company’s Trade Union effectively demonstrated its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. The Trade Union has always accompanied management in removing obstacles, stabilizing production, and improving the living conditions of union members and employees.

For the period 2023–2025, industrial production value (at current prices) is estimated at VND 5,006 billion, an average increase of 15% per year; total revenue is estimated at VND 5,292 billion, an increase of 7% per year; profit before tax reached VND 129 billion; the average income of workers remained above VND 14 million/person/month, ensuring stable employment and living conditions.
The Trade Union has signed a Collective Labor Agreement with many beneficial terms for workers. Activities to improve welfare have been implemented such as travel programs, sports events, member birthday celebrations, holiday and Tet gifts, and support for illness. The program “Trade Union Shelter” supported 06 difficult housing cases with a total of VND 300 million. In 2025, the Trade Union provided quarterly gifts to union members and employees with a total cost of VND 765 million.

During the term, the Trade Union organized 44 periodic dialogues and 10 employee conferences, contributing to building harmonious and sustainable labor relations. The Trade Union has ensured that workers can participate in commenting and supervising the implementation of regimes and policies; together with management, they took care of employees’ health through periodic health examinations, occupational disease screening, and additional comprehensive health insurance (PVI Care).
Emulation activities and initiatives were promoted with 19 technical initiatives recognized, generating over VND 7 billion in savings. Many collectives and individuals were rewarded by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Union, and the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union. Prominent movements were strongly promoted such as “Promoting initiatives and technical improvement,” “Green – Clean – Beautiful,” and “Saving and optimizing work practices,” fostering innovation among workers.
Notably, 27 outstanding union members were recommended for admission to the Party, contributing to building a strong Party organization and Company workforce.
Solidarity, Creativity, Innovation for Workers

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Do Van Tuan highly appreciated the practical contributions of the Trade Union in accompanying the Company to ensure employment, income, and welfare for workers. He requested the Trade Union to continue renewing its content and methods of operation, aligning with the Company’s business objectives, promoting emulation movements, innovation, and building corporate culture, strengthening connection between workers and the enterprise.

In his instructions at the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong acknowledged the comprehensive achievements of the Trade Union during the past term, especially in taking care of workers’ welfare, protecting rights, and promoting initiatives. He requested the Trade Union to continue fostering solidarity, strengthening emulation across the system, and improving training and development of Trade Union officials, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution and development goals of Vietnam National Chemical Group.



The Congress elected 09 members to the Executive Committee of Southern Fertilizer Trade Union, term 2025–2030. The Supervisory Committee included 03 members and 04 official delegates, 01 alternate delegate to attend the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union. Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong was re-elected as Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union.







The Congress also approved the Resolution with key targets: striving to achieve the title of “Strong Grassroots Trade Union”; at least 02 union members to receive Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Annually, over 70% of union members achieve the title of Advanced Worker, and 25% achieve Excellent Worker or above. During the term, strive to have 20 initiatives recognized, including 02 initiatives awarded the title “Creative Labor.”
Introduce 40 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission. Ensure employment, stable income, and good implementation of regimes and policies in accordance with regulations and the Collective Labor Agreement. Strive for an average growth rate of 8% in 2025 and from 10% per year in the period 2026–2030 in business results and workers’ income.

With the spirit of “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development,” the Congress called on all union members and employees to uphold their solidarity, responsibility, and creativity, together building a strong Trade Union organization, contributing to the sustainable development of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company in the new phase.
