In implementation of the Resolution of the 2025 Employee Conference, on May 30, 2025, Coffee Company 719 coordinated with the Eakmat Coffee Research Institute and The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company to organize a technical training session on coffee replanting, combined with the introduction of high-quality NPK fertilizer products.
The training session was honored to welcome and receive direction from Mr. Nguyen Duy Nghia – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company Trade Union. Representing the Eakmat Coffee Research Institute was Mr. Bui Van Khanh – Master of Science and Head of the Department of Agricultural Technology Transfer. Representing The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company were Mr. Dinh Thien Toan – Regional Business Manager for Dak Lak Province, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai – Regional Business Manager for the Mekong Delta, along with all managers, staff, and employees currently working at Coffee Company 719.
In recent years, farmers in general and coffee growers in particular have faced numerous challenges, including the increasingly evident impacts of climate change, constant fluctuations in agricultural input prices, more complex pest and disease pressures, and the widespread circulation of counterfeit and low-quality fertilizers on the market. In addition, fertilizer use in many localities remains unscientific, leading to waste, soil degradation, declining agricultural product quality, and reduced production efficiency.
In response to this reality, Coffee Company 719 proactively coordinated with specialized organizations to organize the training session on both the morning and afternoon of May 30, 2025, focusing on two key crops: coffee and rice.
At the training session, employees were equipped with knowledge on the functions and nutritional requirements of different fertilizer types suitable for each crop and growth stage, proper fertilizer application by season, as well as skills for reading product labels and identifying quality fertilizers.
During the session, Southern Fertilizer also introduced a range of high-quality products manufactured on modern production lines and suitable for cultivation conditions across various regions. Notable products included the single-color fertilizer product line for rice such as Southern Fertilizer Rice Tillering Booster and Golden Yield Rice Booster; the three-color fertilizer product line for rice (Green Rice and Golden Rice); Superphosphate Long Thanh; PBMN Urea 46 + TE; and small-granule NPK products with high solubility such as NPK 16-16-8+6S+TE, NPK 20-5-5+TE, and more.
Through this training session, Southern Fertilizer hopes to have contributed to enhancing awareness and providing employees of Coffee Company 719 with additional practical knowledge and skills for the scientific and effective use of fertilizers. This serves not only as an important foundation for improving crop productivity and quality, but also as a solid step toward sustainable, modern, and environmentally friendly agricultural development.
