The 1st Congress of the Government Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term took place over two days (October 12–13, 2025) at the National Convention Center. The Congress was attended by 452 official delegates (including 60 ex-officio delegates, 157 officially appointed delegates, and 236 elected delegates), representing more than 209,000 Party members from 2,211 grassroots Party organizations under the Government Party Committee; along with around 120 invited guests. In his opening remarks, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh – Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister of Vietnam – emphasized: “This is an extremely important political event of the Government Party Committee, marking a historic milestone in building a Government that is upright, enabling, action-oriented, serving the nation and the people.”
In a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, the Party Committee of Vietnam National Chemical Group (VINACHEM) attended the Congress with 8 official delegates and 24 invited delegates who are members of the VINACHEM Party Committee Executive Board, representing more than 4,800 Party members throughout the Group. Among the VINACHEM delegation was Comrade Do Van Tuan – Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company. This is a great honor and pride, demonstrating the active participation and contribution of Southern Fertilizer and VINACHEM member units to the overall success of the Congress.
The Congress affirmed its strong political determination with the theme: “Building a clean and strong Government Party Committee; united, exemplary in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; accelerating breakthroughs, fostering rapid and sustainable national development in the era of prosperity, civilization, and happiness,” along with the guiding motto: “Solidarity, discipline – Democracy, innovation – Breakthrough, development – Close to the people, for the people.”
The success of the 1st Government Party Committee Congress for the 2025–2030 term, together with the active, responsible and knowledgeable participation of the VINACHEM delegation, contributed significantly to the overall achievement of the Congress. It demonstrates the pioneering spirit, firm political courage and innovative mindset of the chemical industry’s Party members in the new era.
