Towards the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025), the Trade Union and Youth Union of units under The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company organized a series of meaningful activities, reflecting the profound values of “Remembering the Source” and “Gratitude to the Revolution,” honoring the heroic sacrifices of martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families with meritorious contributions to the nation. Kicking off the activities, on July 25, 2025, at the Hiep Phuoc Commune Martyrs’ Memorial, the Youth Union Executive Committee, in coordination with the Trade Union of Hiep Phuoc Fertilizer Plant and the Packaging Production Plant, solemnly held a memorial incense-offering ceremony. The event took place in a respectful and solemn atmosphere, giving staff and union members the opportunity to revisit the heroic traditions and express deep gratitude for the sacrifices made for the country’s independence and freedom.

Continuing in the same spirit, in Dong Nai province, the Trade Union and Youth Union of Long Thanh Super Phosphate Plant, in coordination with the leadership delegation of the Party Committee – People’s Council – People’s Committee – Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thai Commune, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Diem, who turns 100 this year. The meeting took place in a warm and touching atmosphere, providing an opportunity for today’s generation to express deep gratitude to these great mothers who sacrificed and devoted their beloved children for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

On the morning of July 26, 2025, the Youth Union of The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company organized the “Gratitude and Remembrance” program at Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs’ Cemetery. Here, the youth members offered flowers and lit incense at each grave, paying tribute and expressing gratitude to the brave sons and daughters who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, reflecting the sincere sentiment and noble tradition of the Vietnamese people.

At the same time, in Vinh Long province, the Youth Union of Cuu Long Fertilizer Plant visited and presented gifts to heroic mother Le Thi Lang, while also paying respects and offering incense to heroic mother Nguyen Thi Quyen in Song Phu commune, Tam Binh district. The unit also displayed banners to raise awareness, spreading the spirit of gratitude widely within the local community.

Through this meaningful series of gratitude activities, the Trade Union and Youth Union members across the Company not only demonstrate their sense of social responsibility, but also help preserve and promote patriotic traditions, instilling revolutionary ideals in the younger generation. On its path of sustainable development, Southern Fertilizer will continue to spread these profound human values through community initiatives – fostering a culture of compassion, solidarity, and a forward-looking spirit.
