Awarding 45 Gift Packages to Southern Fertilizer Employees on the Occasion of Workers’ Month

On May 22, at Hiep Phuoc Fertilizer Plant (The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company), the Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union, in coordination with the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, visited and presented 45 gift packages to employees facing difficult circumstances.

Attending the program were Mr. Vu Truong Son – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Huy Thong – Chairman of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union, along with representatives of the Company’s leadership and Trade Union.

Comprehensive Care for Employees During Worker’s Month 2025

In response to Workers’ Month 2025 under the theme “Vietnamese Workers Taking the Lead in Entering a New Era,” the Trade Union of The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company implemented numerous practical and meaningful activities aimed at caring for the material and spiritual well-being of employees. These efforts clearly demonstrated the Trade Union’s role in accompanying, representing, and protecting employees’ rights, while motivating them to work with peace of mind and long-term commitment to the company.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Truong, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union, reports on Workers’ Month activities.

The Company’s Trade Union synchronously implemented communication activities and practical care programs for employees. The Company organized banner displays, conducted briefings on the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Social Insurance, collective labor agreements, and communications related to Party Congresses. At the same time, 484 gift packages were distributed; 7 employees received support for medical recuperation and recovery; all employees underwent periodic health checkups, safety training, and preparations to participate in a comprehensive health insurance program. The Company Sports Festival attracted more than 140 participants, creating a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere. Notably, the Company’s Trade Union coordinated proposals to support visits and assistance for 26 employees facing particularly difficult circumstances. These 26 cases received support and care from the Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union and the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union. Each individual received total support valued from 1.5 to 2.5 million VND, including cash and in-kind gifts. These practical gifts not only helped employees feel more secure and encouraged, but also clearly demonstrated the Trade Union’s role in accompanying and caring for workers’ lives. The activities contributed to spreading the spirit of solidarity, unity, and comprehensive care for employees within the Company’s Trade Union.

Effective Dialogue, Sustainable Engagement

In order to promote democracy and listen to employees’ thoughts and aspirations, during Workers’ Month 2025, the Trade Union of The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company organized the Employees’ Conference and regular dialogue sessions at its plants. All opinions and proposals were received and satisfactorily addressed by the Company’s leadership, contributing to strengthening trust and internal cohesion. These results were achieved thanks to the solidarity of the workforce, the proactive role of the Company’s Trade Union, and the close collaboration of the Vietnam Chemical Industry Trade Union and the Vietnam Industry and Trade Trade Union.

This is a meaningful activity that reflects the Trade Union’s care and companionship in improving employees’ material and spiritual well-being, especially for workers facing difficult circumstances, Mr. Son emphasized.
